First, you can adjust the edge guides to some pretty long lengths, but you’ll see my standard sized page is too small of the guides, so I’ll have to use the ones engrained on the base instead.

When doing a saddle staple, make sure the push the back edge guide back and out of the way.

But now it’s just a simple press of the lever for a booklet stapled perfectly in the center of the crease.

You can rotate the base to also staple in a standard flat position. Just reposition the anvil into the other slit in the base—also fit the base into the back to support in.

Now I can set the back stop, and staple my pages.

To change out the staples, first pull the staple rod in, then up, and then out.

You can insert several sizes of heavy duty staples up to 1/2”, supporting up to 75 sheets of paper.

Insert it in the back and place the rod back in. To remove staples you have to push them out from the front with the staple removing metal piece. And they should come out the back.

Here is a final look at the whole unit.
