Product Description

Get the Martin Yale Postmark PM-3068 Milling Letter Opener to manage incoming mail. Close to 32,000 envelopes can be opened every hour by this robotic letter opener. Resettable counters, batch counters, rate counters, lifespan counters, on-demand, and on-delay feeders, milling cutter on/off, and adjustable speed settings are among the other features. Using a milling cutter, the envelope's contents are instantly accessible without causing paper cuts thanks to a gentle feathered-edge opening. By using this method, the envelope's edge is cut off by 1/8" and turned into tiny chips that fall into the integrated waste bin. For optimal cut quality, a separator makes sure that only one envelope enters the machine. It easily opens mixed-size mail from up to 6mm of 1/4" thick. Because the entire system is made to accommodate large flats and envelopes, it can handle larger envelopes. It offers longevity and a high level of operational reliability because of its strong metal construction and top-notch components.

Product Details

  • Milling Cutter Technology. Keeps the contents safe from being damaged or cut. It only takes up to 3mm (1/8") off the edge of the envelope. The discarded material is left in tiny chips in the trash can. It creates a gentle, feathery edge opening that makes accessing the contents simple and prevents paper cuts.
  • Mixed Thickness Separator. By limiting the number of envelopes that can travel through the machine at once, this separator design maximizes separation and enhances cut quality.
  • High Speed. Capable of opening 32,000 envelopes an hour or more. Opens all the mixed mail, from small to large. Opens envelopes that are up to 6mm (1/4") thick. The entire system is designed to handle huge flats and envelopes easily and efficiently.
  • On-demand Letter Opening. Capable of on-demand feeding that will feed, open, and stop until they’re removed. On-delay feeding allows feeding and opening at a specified pace.
  • Simple and Reliable. High degree of operational reliability. Touch-screen controls are easy to access and set jobs up. It also features an idle and jam shut-off. The extendable feed ramp allows for larger envelopes along with small ones.
  • Heavy Duty. Solid metal construction throughout. Made of steel using the highest quality of components. Has two motors for better performance and a longer life.
  • Standard Features: Resettable counter, batch counter, rate counter, lifetime counter, on demand feeding, on delay feeding, milling cutter on/off, variable speed .
  • Options: 12mm (0.5”) print head for date / time / bitmap printing.
