MBM's Triumph Kutrimmer 1046 Paper Cutter is a heavy duty table top paper trimmer that has an 30 sheet capacity and a 18" cutting length. The overall table size for the 1046 is 20" x 14". The Triumph Kutrimmer 1046 has an independent automatic clamp, lockable back gauge, precision side guides, all metal construction and a clear safety guard to protect the operator by covering the blade in any position. Manufactured in Germany by MBM's parent company, IDEAL, Triumph Kutrimmer paper trimmers are built to the same exacting tolerances as Triumph cutters. All Triumph Kutrimmers utilize solid, all-metal construction and the highest-grade Solingen steel blades. Advanced features such as transparent Lexan blade guards and automatic blade covers ensure the safety of the operator. All MBM Triumph Kutrimmer cutters have Solingen steel blades that may be removed and resharpened.

This is the MBM Triumph Ideal 1046 Guillotine Paper Cutter!

On the board are some common paper sizes and some common angles. It goes to an A3 size. There is also inch and centimeter measurements, measuring to 13.5 inches and 34 centimeters.

Now, when you lift up the handle, it also lifts up the paper clamp. So then you can slip in up to 30 sheets at a time, get it all aligned and now as you bring the blade down, it will automatically clamp the pages in place.

If you havenš™t notice already, you are not going to cut through 30 sheets in one clean motion. However, it does still produce a fairly clean and even cut. And the fewer pages you can at a time, the easier it will be.

Now you can release the pages from the clamp with the lever, pull your pages out and youš™re ready for the next batch!

There is a clear blade shield for the ultimate protection of the bladeš”the chance of hurting yourself with the blade is very minimal!

Here is a look at the blade, and the shield is aligned to also help you get very precise measurements and cuts.

Itš™s almost completely made of metal, for a very durable cutter. The only plastic, which is still strong is the safety shield and the red pieces.
