These mount boards are an innovative all-paper honeycomb alternative to foam, plastic, metal, and wood graphics boards that is coated with a heat-activated adhesive with no plastic carrier. This no tack, heat-activated permanent adhesive bonds at 155 degrees and is dry to the touch. It provides excellent adhesion without the excessive use of plastic material. The adhesive adheres permanently to most papers to the same papers as adhesive foam boards. The boards are ΒΌβ thick with a surface and core that are from 100% fully recyclable paper that is environmentally sustainable. Triple-thick, bright white clay-coated liners provide a viable surface that is perfect for superior ink coverage and exceptional color gloss. The boards are also available in Kraft color core with a bright-white SFI certified surface paper option. A unique open core design with a 95% open space to deliver structural strength while being lightweight. Designed to have the structural integrity I-beams, the boards can hold up on carrying shear, bending, and compressive loads and provide outstanding strength, rigidity, and warp resistance. Virgin core material easily cuts clean and crisp. With its rugged surface and structure, EagleCell is comparable to Gator boards without harming the environment.
