Product Description
The 450Ms is a micro-cut shredder that shreds at a level 5 security; designed for the most sensitive and private documents. The controls are simple with an on/off switch and a forward and back. SafeSense technology senses your hands near the opening and shuts down the shredder. The shredder itself is rather quiet. It can shred 9 feet per minute and can run for 8 minutes continuously. It’s built for one user, heavy use, and to totally destroy documents. It has a shred capacity of up to 7 sheets of 20-pound paper per shred. Like shred paper, cardstock, laminated items, staples, paper clips, CDs, DVDs, and credit cards. Fellowes’ patented SafeSense technology keeps this machine incredibly safe. When it senses your hand near the opening of the shredder, it shuts down automatically either side all the way across. Auto reverse feature stops and reverses paper if a jam occurs. You can also manually press the button and back out your project to start again. All shreds fall into a 5 ½ gallon bin below that’s accessed from the front. And paper items in the main feed tray shred at a level 5 security. The entire shredder moves around on four casters making relocation simple. There it is, that’s the PowerShred 450Ms by Fellowes.
