This pharmacy shredder turns 17-22 sheets per pass into 5/32" x 1-13/32" cross cut particles that is level P-4 rated at a speed of up to 27.6 feet/min (or 622 sheets per minute). The 70Rx is equipped with a large 18.5 gallon (70 liter) catch basket that minimizes the need to interrupt shred jobs. Using this shredder is very easy and convenient. No need to remove staples and paperclips, and the unit can also shred adhesive prescription labels, and other paper label products. Plus, it is featured with the i-control control panel that presents indicator lights in a readily accessible manner, alongside the forward, reverse, and power buttons. Minimal training of new operator is needed. The feed glows green when it is ready to use, and inserting paper automatically activates the shredding mechanism. The feed slot glows yellow when too many sheets are being inserted, and shows a red light when the shred unit is overloaded.
