This James Burn BB400 Speedbind Automatic Wire Binding Machine provides the ultimate productivity level in a minimum footprint at afoordable price. It has an output ranging from 1,500 to 3,000 documents per hour depending on format. James Burn BB400's simplicity guarantees high speed and finishing quality. Closing 3:1 and 2:1 pitch wire from 1/4" up to 1", it can take all types of documents including flush cut, oversized covers as well as tabbed sheets. It handles skip binding and can use traditional wire spools. This binder can automatically feed back covers for desktop calendars and turn them around after closing before reception. The BB400 Speedbind's control panel is simple and easy to use. Mechanical adjustments as well as insertion guide and closing tool changes are performed from the front of the machine. This James Burn BB400 Speedbind Automatic Wire Binding Machine can bind a wide variety of applications including note pads, exercise books, diaries as well as desktop calendars.

- Speedbind Binding Process:
- The operator positions the documents onto the left side of the machine
- The document is jogged by gravity
- The document is transported to the wire feeding section
- The wire element is cut to length and fed
- The wire element is inserted into the document
- The document moves to the closing station
- The document is stacked on the reception exit conveyor
- Optional Accessories:
- Board Feeder: The board feeder is a station that can be added to the machine. A stack of hard covers are loaded into the feeder, and it will automatically load them one at a time while the operator loads the book block. This eliminates the need to collate the covers with the rest of the book ahead of time.
- Closing Tools: Available in sizes from 1/4" to 1".
