The Destroyit 3103 comes with all of the essentials needed for a basic office shredder. With a sheet capacity of 15 to 18 at 27 feet per minute at a shredding level of 3, you can rest assured that your documents will be shredded quickly and securely. The feed opening of 10 ¼" allows even the oddest shaped papers through with ease. The quality wooden cabinet is mounted on casters for accessibility and convenience. The bag frame mechanism, which holds 37 gallons of shred volume, is mounted on rollers for quick and easy replacement of the disposable shred bags. Its single phase motor is rate for continuous operation and all of the durable gears are organized in a dust-proof enclosure. The 3103 comes with Destroyit’s “SPS" (Safety Protection System) which is a transparent shield that covers the feed opening. Being electronically controlled, the shredder detects when the shield is opened, instantly shutting the machine off for safety near the feed opening. The feed is automatically controlled by a photo cell and will only start when there is something being fed through, conserving energy.
