The Novus Pro Heavy Duty B45 has a stapling capacity of 140 sheets and features an automatic bypass system which provides the convenience of using larger staples on smaller projects. A sliding adjustable depth guide allows you to set the staple location and ensure you clinch your desired depth on each and every document. The B45 also features an innovative Anti -Blocking System (ABS) which prevents the possibility of a staple jam and having your documents stuck to the stapler. A dual staple guide system further ensures trouble free performance by providing even pressure on the staple legs until it clinches your documents. No more jammed fingers that often occur from spring activated, top loaders. The Novus Pro B45 is a front loading machine that is easily refilled by pushing the button at the back of the stapler. For optimal performance, we recommend using Novus Heavy Duty #23 staples. These thicker gauge, precision formed staples will ensure your Pro Stapler performs as designed. The B45 will accommodate staples up to 17mm in length. This stapler also comes with a small box of staples, so you are ready to start stapling.

Dahle Novus B45 Professional Stapler Review

If you're looking for a stapler that can fasten a lot of sheets at once, you should really check out the Dahle Novus B45. This device has a phenomenal punching capacity in addition to other features you're going to love. Let's take a look at what it has to offer.

Strengths:

The B45 has one of the best stapling capacities you could ever dream of. It can staple up to 140 sheets of paper so you'll be able fasten both your short and long documents.
It's unlikely that this device will ever jam up on you because it's outfitted with an anti-blocking system. This system ensures that your documents will be cleanly stapled and that your paper won't get stuck to the stapler.
Another great feature of the B45 is its bypass system. This particular feature allows you to fasten smaller documents with staples meant for longer works. The bypass system will staple your document and ensure that the legs don't overlap.
Speaking of staples, this device is compatible with several types of Dahle Novus fasteners. Some of the ones you can use include the 23/8, 23/13, and the 23/17 Super Staples. Using these items ensure that your stapler will perform beautifully.
This device has an adjustable depth guide that you can use to determine where the staple will be located in your document.
The B45 is really easy to load. All you need to do is press the button on the back of the device and you can load the staples.
This is one of the best staplers to get if you want something durable. The B45 has metal parts so you can get a lot of use out of it. And the base is very sturdy so the stapler won't move when you're using it.

Weaknesses:

The B45 has a really shallow throat. It's only 3.25 inches deep so this device can't really used for center stapling. (Unless, of course, your documents are extremely small.)
This device is surprisingly large. Its dimensions are 11.125" (length) x 3" (width) x 7.5" (height) so it's definitely not a compact stapler and it will take up a fairly significant portion of your work surface.

The Dahle Novus B45 is a fantastic stapler and it's perfect if you're looking for a device with an excellent stapling capacity. You can use this item for short documents as well as long ones that contain up to 140 pages. You'll be able to control where your document is fastened thanks to the adjustable depth guide and you can use the same staples for both thin and thick documents due to the bypass system. (However, it would be nice if the throat was deeper to allow for center stapling.) This device is really durable and it also has a great warranty. All together, the B45 is a great stapler, so be sure to take a look at it.
