This Stapler Is For Large Jobs---Like 25-50 Sheets

I failed to read the compete description on this stapler and when it arrived I was at first disappointed. Then I reread the usages and found this stapler is for a “large stack” of papers like perhaps 25 to 50. It is absolutely of no use for stapling a couple of whets together and is fact a little dangerous as the staple pay cut you finger if used with just a couple of sheets of paper. Use 25 to 50 sheets and the stapler works real well. It came with a box of refills staples. For what it is intended this is a very good stapler. Wish it had come with a page of instructions. I also like the fact it is compact and sits easily on my desk along with a regular stapler.

Small but Powerful

Between having 2 people in college and work related papers, we do a lot of stapling around our house. We've been looking for a stapler that can staple larger documents. We've purchased staplers in the past that claimed to be able to staple large documents only to find that, in reality, they only staple smaller documents. When the stapler arrived, I was a bit skeptical as it was smaller than expected and didn't look that sturdy. I decided to put this to the test as it claimed that it could staple 50 sheets of paper. I was surprised that not only did it staple 50 sheets of paper, but it also did so with very little effort on my part. It's more sturdy and powerful than it looks. I like that it's a smaller size as it doesn't take up as much space, but it still gets the job done.

Great Flat Clinch Stapler For Big Projects; Just Make Sure You Know Its Limitations

The first thing you notice about this stapler is that its small. Compared to other staplers I have used that can handle up to 50 sheets this Rapid S50 is about half the size. The next big difference is that this is a flat clinch stapler. What does this mean? Well it staples by folding the ends of the metal together but without curving them inwards. This leads to a flatter stack (the stapled part of the pages does not fold in). The problem with this style of stapler is that it does not handle small projects very well. If you try and staple 2 sheets together it will lead to the metal staples being easy to snag onto other things (even your fingers). I tried this on a stack of 40 pages and it worked very well and it was easy to remove the staple when I got to work. The price is a bit high but on par with other heavy duty staplers.
