If you’re like most people, you have a busy workday and need to save as much time as possible. Having the right office machines can make that possible, such as the Royal Sovereign RSS-1050N Roll Laminator. This machine is extremely fast and it also has some other great features you’ll want to know about. So here’s an in-depth look at this product.
- The RSS-1050N has a pretty terrific laminating width. It’s capable of processing items that are up to 41 inches wide. This is a great machine to use if you need to work with trade show graphics, posters, and other large items.
- This laminator can handle both pressure-sensitive and thermal laminating film. The film you use can be as thick as you want because this device is compatible with film that’s 1 to 10 mil thick. You can also use mounting boards. Just make sure they’re no thicker than 0.5”.
- The RSS-1050N can do both hot and cold processing. Since it can do cold lamination, you’ll be able to laminate photographs and documents printed with water-based ink. (These kinds of items can be damaged by heat.)
- You only have to wait about 10 minutes for this machine to warm up. When it’s ready to go it can laminate almost 20 feet of material in a minute. (There are 9 speed settings in total.)

- This product comes with a pretty good warranty. It’s covered for 1 year except for the rollers. Those are covered for 6 months.
While the Royal Sovereign RSS-1050N main selling point is its incredible speed, it also has a lot of great features such as its ability to shut down on its own. While this is a pretty big device and you’ll need to make some room for it, the RSS-1050N is definitely worth a look.
