The 4'x6' size has the scale on the top, bottom, and left edge (no scale on right). All sizes 4' x 10' or larger have the 1" grid squares, but no edge scale.

Can you only tape it down to table when needed? Remove it, re tape when needed? AND if so, can you buy more double sided tape, and when removing from table, does it leave any sticky residue. Thanks

I am really confused about your product. I am looking for a mat to put done for sewing cutting out . I do not know what the overlay board is for unless you have to have it to cut on. Please advise what is best.

For the Rhino Self-Healing Large Cutting Mat With Grid Underlay, the board that you cut on, does not have the measurement grid, it is just plain, and is frosted, so you can see the underlay through it, which would have the grid on it. The underlay is a thin styrene sheet, that would not be for cutting directly on.

Is this silicone heat resistant? Like If we used a hot glue gun, would we need another pad under it?

Per the manufacturer, the cutting mats are not heat resistant, you would want to put something under your glue gun, so it does not damage the mat.
