The Royal Sovereign RFCI-1826 65" Belt-Free Fixation Calender with a 10”ø drum use Infra-Red technologies to achieve fast warm up times and consistent temperature. The RFCI-1826 is specifically engineered and designed for the purpose of fixating pigments and dyes that have been directly printed on. The fixation process bonds permanently dyes and pigments to flags, banners, backlit material and enriches colors. During the Direct-To-Garment or DTG printing process, pigments and dyes are dispersed directly onto fabrics and heat must be applied for the colors to truly fixate to the fabrics. Throughout the fixation process colors will become more vibrant,enriching the printed images. The benefit to this process is that protection paper or tissue paper is not required and there is no belt involved eliminating the concerns of ghosted images.
