Product Description

Offer a variety of binding styles with Tamerica EC-1 Binding Machine with UNIVERSAL PUNCH??. This internationally patented binding system can punch for 20 different binding styles with its Universal Punch. The system allows users to bind wire, metal & plastic coil, Velobind, 2 & 3-Ring Binders, and much more. To operate, adjust the side and depth margin (deeper for more small books, near the edge for larger books), and punch up to 10 sheets (20lb bond paper) at a time. The machine has a built-in wire closer that handles wire binds from 1/4" to 3/4" size. A coil crimping pliers is included in the system to conveniently finish coil-bound books. The pliers has a compartment within the machine for easy access and storage. Binding is mess-free with the punch tray that catches paper scraps for easy disposal. Feel secure with your purchase as the machine comes with a one-year Manufacturer's Warranty.

Introducing the EC-1 binding machine from Tamerica powered by universal punch. Our patented binding system allows you to punch 3:1, 2:1 in double wire loop. Also 3:1. 4:1, 5:1, 6mm pitch, .2475” pitch, and 2.5:1 in plastic and metallic coil. You can also use the universal punch system for Velobind, universal plastic combs, and 2 & 3 ring binders. Let’s see the operation. First, adjust lateral margins and make sure the paper and covers are well centered. Then adjust depth margins depending on the number of paper sheets your book project will have. Your book’s thickness will determine the margin. More margin for thick projects, less margin for thinner books. Now let’s punch. Beginning by your covers then punch the paper. EC-1 model can punch up to 10 sheets of 20lb bond paper per stroke. Let’s bind our project. Hang your spine on the wire hanger located on the front top of the machine. To close the metallic wire, adjust the two knobs located on the back of the EC-1 machine. Lift your book off the wire-hanger until we have a C-shaped open bind. Settle your book inside the closer. Close all the way until the unit stops automatically with the setting you previously selected. If using plastic or metallic coil, simply insert manually. Plyers are included in every EC-1 model. Locate them in left front base of the machine. Cut and bend with the plyers. Now your book is all done. The chip tray slides easily for disposal. This is the wide range of pitches you can bind with universal punch.
