Always dependable

X-Actos are x-actos, you can’t beat them. These blades are super sharp and hold an edge well. The only small nit-pick I have is that when they’re packaged and wrapped in oil-impregnated paper, the blades end up facing the opening of the paper so you’re picking up a blade out of the paper wrapping from the sharp side. I wouldn’t use this quibble to subtract a star or recommend against purchasing (if it’s really an issue for you, use a pair or tweezers) but it’s kind of weird.

They are sharp don't listen to the complains.

I've used these to cut office paper, Japanese paper, printmaking paper, plastic, matboard, linoleum, shina wood, poplar, fabrics, and the point has held strong. I don't have to replace them too often either and yes its the blue ones which I like the color.. Suspect other reviewers don't know what they're doing. Will definitely get again.

Great refill from the makers of the best hobby knife

Finally, I can stop buying the expensive little refill packs from the hardware store. I use x-acto knives often in my line of hobby work. I love to work on cars, electronics, Christmas lights, etc. All of which will require the use of a hobby knife. There is nothing more crappy than using a dull x-acto blade, which I have done so many times! Now with this 100 pack, I don't have to worry, I can replace often!
