• The Titan 200BC is perfect for both large and small sheets of paper. This device can cut paper that's up to 20 inches wide, so you'll be able to process all the popular sizes of paper including letter, legal, and tabloid. The table is very roomy (there are 16" of space in front of the blade and 20" behind it) so you'll have a lot of workspace

• This machine comes with a false clamp plate. When you use it, you'll be able to cut 3 inches' worth of paper which is about 500 sheets. If you choose not to use it, you can slice through a 3.25-inch stack. It just depends on how much pressure you want placed on the sheets. All clamping is hydraulic.

• The Titan 200BC's backgauge is controlled manually. However, there is an LED display so you'll be able to see its position. There's also a light that will indicate where your paper will be cut so you can re-align it if necessary.

• Safety is important when using any cutter. Luckily, the Titan 200BC comes with enough features to keep you safe including a plexiglass rear safety shield. You also need to use two hands when operating this machine so your hands will be far away from the blade.

• This is one of the most energy efficient cutters available. The motor will run only when you're actually cutting so you'll be able to conserve power and lower your energy costs.

• There are a number of options available for the Titan 200BC including side tables and a foot pedal for mechanical clamping. There's also a 1.5-horsepower motor available. (The device comes with a .75-HP motor.) Unfortunately, the options are sold separately and are pretty pricey so you'll need to consider if they're worth it or not.

• The Titan 200BC is one of the largest electric paper cutters available. It measures 53" (height) x 36" (width) x 49.625" (length) so it looks pretty intimidating. (It's not, really.) This device weighs 755 pounds so it comes with casters to make moving it around less of a chore.

• Finally, this trimmer is incredibly durable thanks to it being made out of steel and cast iron. However, Challenge has given this cutter a one-year warranty just in case the unexpected happens.

The Challenge Titan 200BC is a terrific paper cutter and it would be great for just about any workplace needing a heavy-duty device. This machine offers an impressive cutting capacity as well as the ability to slice through hundreds of sheets at a time. You'll find that using this trimmer is very easy and safe, thanks to features such as the manual backgauge and the plexiglass safety shield. It's disappointing that there are extras for this product that are sold separately. You may want to give the cutter a try before investing in them.
