Dahle CleanTEC 41622 Level P-5 Cross Cut Department Paper Shredder with FREE Oil

This is the Dahle Level P-5 41622 Department Shredder!

Simply inserting up to 15 pages into this shredder will automatically start and stop the motor.

If you hold the forward button for a few seconds it will go into continuous feeding mode.

So now feed stack after stack until you’re finished.

The opening is 16” inches wide, which will fit most any size page in any orientation.

And it senses if you’ve put in too many pages, to which the motor won’t start until there’s less.

If you need to ever stop shredding—like if you catch your hair or tie…ouch—hold the reverse button and pull everything out.

Of course you can always panic and shout! And the shredder will stop!  That’s because right in this corner is a microphone, which is a very unique safety feature.

And you don’t have to worry about staples and paper clips, it’ll shred those too.

For how surprisingly small it is, the security level is only mid-range right below super duper high security and Top Secret!

Opening the bin we see a spot to store a bottle of oil.

And it will tell you when it needs more oil, which then you can fill the automatic oiler and keep your machine working smoothly.

Pulling out the bag and replacing it is simple.  Just wrap the bag around the square bar, then slip it into place.

Place the black tray in the center to catch CD trimmings.  Slip your CDs in the front slot and push the forward button.  CDs are not recyclable, that’s why it’s good to separate them.

On the back is a dust filter—if you’ve ever shredded a lot of pages without one, you’ll know how much fine dust is actually released—but not anymore with a filtration system!

The automatic power features put it in sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity and shuts it off after 30.

When you find a good spot to put your shredder, lock the wheels so it stays there.
