The Dahle PowerTEC 717 OS High-Security Optical Media Shredder is NSA/CSS 04-02 approved and supports the top-secret shredding needs of military and government agencies. It is NSA rated O-5 for high security destruction. It shreds 1 CD/DVD per pass into 2mm x 4mm cross-cut particles at a speed of 9 feet per minute. The PowerTEC 717 OS has a 5" feed opening and holds up to 20 gallons of waste. This optical media shredder has a chain driven continuous duty motor for slip-free power. The Automatic EvenFlow Lubricator provides continuous oil across the cutting cylinders. You can avoid downtime and service calls with its Automatic Jam Protection feature. Plus, the PowerTEC 717 OS is equipped with a LED keypad with easy-to-use controls for simple operation.
