This one is durable enough to keep up to its name and standard, but lightweight enough for travel. It's 15 inch in length blade is great for larger documents.
Some of its outstanding features are the alignment grid and the guide and paper fence. There is an automatic paper clamp that keeps your documents from sliding around on the work surface and there is a simple one-handed locking mechanism to keep the lever in place when not in use. Needing only one hand to lock it is nice, but it takes some getting used to. Likewise, once you're used to it, the automatic paper clamp is quite useful.
The grid on the work surface has both metric and standard measurements printed on it and the easy to adjust fence for paper guiding is a great plus. The Vantage 15E has a sturdy metal base that is equipped with non skid rubber feet so neither your project nor your machine will be sliding around.
