Thank you for your question. the Maximum margin depth for the .5 " Master 1325B Hole Punch is .5".

Thank you for your question. With the Master 1325B Hole Punch by Martin Yale all of the punching heads are interchangeable and adjustable. You are to position the heads as needed including to fit a half sized sheet.
