These are Split Rings!

They come in two sizes: 1 3/16 inches and 15/16 of an inch in diameter.

Some are specially heat treated to make the metal harder and stronger.

Here is another look at the two sizes. The larger is great for holding several keys, while the smaller size can be great for making key chains.

Speaking of key chains, if you add in a key tag tab, now connecting anything to your split ring just got easier.

If you don’t know how to use a split ring, well I figured I give a demo of that as well. Depending on the thickness from the edge of the key to the hole, getting a key on can be difficult.

Taking things off, is the same process.

Good Quality Split Rings

These split rings were exactly what I wanted, although it helps to have fingernails to open up the split rings to slip on (in my case) laminated business cards. I also ordered plastic connectors which worked also, and they were easier to attach and weighed less to mail in quantity than the split rings. But this is definitely a good product.

Split Rings Work Well With Laminated Business Cards

I needed something to attach my business card (laminated in luggage-tag-with-notch lamination pouches)to my promotional items, and these split rings worked perfectly! If you are concerned about the mailing weight added by using metal rings, there are plastic tabs that might work, too. My Binding carries both products.
