Our capacity chart simplifies the decision-making process for choosing the appropriate coil size.
In addition to the capacity chart, we offer a straightforward general rule comprising three easy steps to ensure a proper fit for any type of binding.
- Place the book to be bound on a flat table, ensuring it lies completely flat.
- Without compressing the paper, measure the thickness of the binding edge.
- Take that measurement and add 1/8" - this calculated value is the recommended size for the binding element that will perfectly suit your document thickness.

Therefore, we suggest using the stack capacity for a more precise fit. Keep in mind that all these capacities are approximations.
