Very disappointed. The PTO purchased this for the school. Purchased in Nov 2015 and just after 90 day warranty expired, it does not work. I have placed a service call that will cost almost as much as the machine. If I had purchased from GBC directly, it would have been covered under a 1 year warranty. Mybinding.com only offers a 90 day warranty.

All about the Ultima 65:

The Ultima 65 can laminate items that are up to 27 inches wide. Thus, it would be a great machine to use if you need to laminate posters, banners, and other wide items.
This machine is very easy to use. You control it via a keypad on the front of the machine. There's an LCD display so you can see which settings are available and then select them accordingly.
This laminator has a rather long warm-up time of 20 minutes. So you'll have to plan somewhat ahead when you need to use it. With such a long warm-up time, this might not be the best machine to use if you're in a hurry. However, when the device is warmed up, it can laminate up to 10 inches of material per minute.
Using this machine is very safe because it has a protective shield to prevent your hands from coming into contact with the heating element.
The Ultima 65's speed and temperature settings are preset which helps simplify the process. The machine has heated rollers to ensure that your items will be perfectly laminated.
Choosing film to use with this machine will be easy. It's compatible with Nap-Lam roll film that's 1.5 and 3 mil thick. You'll be able to trim away excess laminate because the Ultima 65 has a built-in trimmer.
The chances of this machine overheating are almost non-existent because it will shut off automatically when you haven't used it in a while. It also has a standby mode so that the machine will still be ready to laminate if you need to step away for a moment.
The Ultima 65 has a reverse function which can be used in the event of a jam. Also, if the laminating film becomes wrapped around the rollers, the reverse mode can be used to help fix things.
This machine will take up a fair bit of room, unfortunately. It has the following dimensions: 21" (length) x 32.5" (width) x 12.5" (depth). It also weighs over 120 pounds so you'll want to exercise caution if you ever need to move it.
