Built to sit on your desk, this device is easily accessible to be ready for use right when you need it. It will also save you money in time and wasted paper. Here is an in-depth look at this handy little machine.

Strengths:

Petite dimensions and lightweight design allow the folder to sit comfortably on your desktop. Non-skid feet help it to stay in place. And since it only weighs about 9 pounds, it is easy to carry around if you need to move it.

Paper jams are unlikely but easily removed thanks to an accessory handle included for manual turning of the rollers. The hand-fed opening takes up to three sheets of 20lb to 24lb non-glossy paper at once. They can even be stapled together if you need to fold a statement or report. This device only folds standard or A4 sized papers into a "C" fold, the standard letter trifold. Documents emerge ready to slide into a business size envelope. Items fold at a rate of 30 sheets per minute or up to 1800 per hour.
A one year manufacturer's warranty guarantees the product to be defect-free. Unfortunately, the warranty doesn't include consumable parts, labor, or shipping.

Weaknesses:

Non-adjustable plates mean this device can only fold things into the standard trifold for letters. If that's the only fold you need, then this won't affect you. But offices preferring multiple fold styles would be better off with a machine offering a variety of fold options.
Though it can potentially provide up to 1800 folded sheets per hour, it is not designed for continuous use or high volume shredding. You will wear out your machine quickly by doing mass mailings. If you foresee your office needing the full 30 sheets per minute, you should look into a folder designed for medium to high volume use. This one will work better and last longer with only light, occasional use.
One other thing it would be nice to see on this folder is the ability to handle additional sizes of paper. If you're only looking for a simple device to fold letters, this one is perfect for you. But if you want to fold larger items, such as legal size documents, you will want a machine that can handle longer paper.

The Martin Yale P6200 is great for smaller jobs where letter folding is a necessity. This machine works ten times faster than folding items by hand, which improves productivity.
