Martin Yale manufactures some high-quality paper cutters and one of their best is the Premier W24. This device has a lot of great features, including a high cutting capacity, so please continue reading to learn all about it and see if it's right for you.

The W24 has a very good cutting capacity. It can cut up to 20 sheets of paper at a time, although you may b able to cut more or less depending on how thick the paper is. (The cutting capacity is based on 20 lb. bond paper.) You can even cut some non-paper items with it including mat board, fabric, tissue, and some plastics.
This trimmer has a 24-inch cutting length. This is a great length because it's not too big and not too small. You'll be able to trim small items (such as 4" x 6" photographs) as well as larger items, such as legal-sized paper (8.5" x 11").
The W24 has a very sharp blade that is made out of self-sharpening stainless steel. The blade is durable enough to withstand repeated cutting and you'll never have to sharpen the blade yourself, which is very convenient.
Even if you've never used a paper trimmer before, you probably know that they can be very dangerous to use. Luckily, the W24 has some features that will help you stay safe. One is the latch on the right side of the trimmer. Every time you cut, the blade will be locked in the "down" position. This eliminates the possibility of it flinging up and it makes it more difficult for someone to accidentally run his/her fingers along the edge. Plus, the blade has a torsion spring to keep it in place, even when it's raised. That way, it won't come crash down and possibly cause an injury.
The W24 has a wooden base that's 0.75" thick. The base has an alignment grid printed on it so you'll be able to measure your materials before cutting them up. The grid has squares that are 0.5" wide and both American and metric measurements are present for your convenience.
To make the cutting process easier and more comfortable, the W24 has a soft-grip handle that's ergonomically friendly. And there are non-skid rubber feet on the down side of this device to keep it in place when you use it.
