This Rapid 5080e Black/Smoke Professional Electric Stapler is manufactured to exceeding standards of quality and performance. It can staple up to 90 sheets of 20 lb. paper. With a staple capacity of 5,000, this electric stapler is ideal for busy corporate copy centers, mailrooms, and offices. Design features a flat clinch stapling mechanism, small footprint, paper guide adjustable up to 2", quiet operation, and see-through visor for visibility to the stapling point. Stapler offers a throat depth range from 1/12" to 2" and an extra-long power cord. The driver blade is replaced with each new cassette ensuring precision stapling and extra long life. This is the Rapid 5080e Flat Clinch Electric Stapler!

First, Iš™ll go over the backstop. The deepest it can go is 5 centimeters or 2 inches. At the 1 centimeter mark it looks like this one, and if you have it all the way to the front the staple probably wonš™t even enter your stack.

Insert up to 90 pages and it will automatically staple for you.

Now, to change out the cartridge, first push on the top button to remove the top cover. Now pull the cartridge out from the top of the sides. Give it a good pull. Line up the bottom of the new cartridge with the slot in the stapler. Push it in until it snaps in place. Put the cover back on by making sure the black button is in line with the hole, and push down on the cover and slide it into placeš”it can be a little tricky.

The final staples are just a little smaller than your standard sized staple. And a look at the back.

The stapler staples in the center of the machine, so you can line your projects up accordingly.

Here is a last look at the stapler. The bottom pads do a decent job at keeping the unit in place, and overall itš™s a pretty attractive electric stapler.

The best electric stapler we have ever used.

This is the best electric stapler we have ever purchased. We have two buildings and four copy rooms. I have purchased several of these for our office, one for each of our copy rooms and one for my own desk. Swingline used-to be a work horse, but they don't make them like the used-to and their electric staplers don't last beyond a year. We have been using this stapler for almost two years now and it is still working just as well as when we first bought it. Yes, it is a lot of money, but it won't break down. It will stand-up to heavy use and it will punch through very thick documents. We are very happy with this electric stapler.

Great stapler for 50-90 pages, needs paper guide

This is a great stapler for any office that's needs to staple large packets of paper together. We needed an electric stapler that would staple over 70 pages together and this one works great. It's quiet and the staples lay flat. My main problem with it is there is no guide to show you where to line up the paper edge, so it's real trial and error to find out where it puts the staple. I had to add a label vertically to the front so we would know where to line up the paper. This is not meant for only a couple of sheets of paper either, it will crimp the paper if you only do a couple pages. This is a heavy-duty beast that staples 50-90 pages with ease. Lifesaver for our CPA office.
