Hello, I'm Steve with Safety Speed Manufacturing, showcasing our DFC H5 vertical panel saw and dust free substrate cutter. Combines an H5 vertical panel saw with a dust free cutter. So we have the three and a quarter horsepower Milwaukee saw motor, you can interchange to a knife plate to use dust free cutting cartridges.
We have three cartridges included. A three blade knife cartridge for PVC, foam board, Coroplast, an ACM dual wheel cutting cartridge, that's for three and four mil ACM, an acrylic scoring cartridge, that's for up to a quarter inch thick acrylic sheet. The saw can cut up to an inch and three quarter inches in thickness, can cut wood, plastics, metal, composite panels.
So standard equipment on the DFC H5 includes a five foot quick stop gauge, which is a sliding stop for repeat cuts, a dust collection system, everything up to the vacuum, two material clamps on the base, wheels for portability, the two black wheels on the base, fixed stand. We're going to start making some test cuts to show a few different materials. All right, now we're going to switch from the saw head to dust free cutting with our cartridges.
So to do that, pull the carriage down. There are two pins on top here, thumb screws. The first blade we'll use is a three blade cartridge for PVC, foam board, and Coroplast.
So I'm looking in here just to set the depth, that window here gives me that sight line. Clamp that in. So this is our acrylic scoring cartridge.
Install that now. And then the key on acrylic scoring is to set the depth of the blades. Let's see, we'll place it on this hook.
This is our ACM dual wheel cutting cartridge for cutting three and four mil thick aluminum composite. Now we'll demonstrate the V grooving cartridge for ACM panels. This is an optional cartridge you can add to the machine.
And the key on V grooving is setting the depth with the sub base. Make sure that's flush with the face of your ACM panel. Lock that into position.
