Welcome to MyBinding video. Let's have a look at the Onyx PAL-M, a Piks-A-Lift manual module by Rhin-O-Tuff. The PAL-M is part of the Onyx semi-automated module series, a manual paper separator used to optimize the amount of paper to be inserted into the paper punch each time. A simple adjustment to the paper stop allows you to do any size paper. Load a small packet of the paper you'll be using onto the tabletop and line it up with the back pole right in the center, and then lock the setting into place. At this point you can load the rest of your paper on top; it can handle up to three reams, with or without tabs. The top of the machine has a small catch, release it and it brings down the apparatus and rests it on top of the paper. Make adjustments with this dial to determine your lift thickness. The actual motion is simple, done with the thumb; press the ball back, it comes forward and lifts your packet. Continue to lift and punch and lift and punch until your project is done. If you need to make an adjustment to the packets at any point for thicker or thinner, simply turn the dial up or down until you have the perfect amount for your punching device. If you have a lot of binding to do, you can be assured of no more paper jams or inefficient punches with a PAL-M. The PAL-M can be used right out of the box in a standalone configuration or as a module mounted to any vertical Rhin-O-Tuff OD or HD punch. It can also be mounted to the APES system for greater efficiency. That's the Onyx PAL-M by Rhin-O-Tuff. For more demos, reviews, and how-tos, check out MyBinding.com.
Welcome to MyBinding video. Let's have a look at the Rhin-O-Tuff Onyx PAL-M as it's added to the Onyx HD7700 punch. The PAL-M is a Piks-a-Lift manual module. It's a paper separator used to optimize the amount of paper to be inserted into a paper punch, not too much and not too little, making your paper punching process extremely efficient. It operates very simply and smoothly with a system of weights. When the lift picking head falls down to the paper, you adjust it with this dial here to adjust the amount of paper, more or less. With the settings in place, operation is just with the thumb. Giving a simple flip, the spring brings it back and lifts a new pack of paper. And with it set and adjusted for your punch and the amount of paper it can handle, lifting to punching to lifting to punching is a fast, efficient process. And within the Rhin-O-Tuff Onyx series, the PAL-M fits on top of any vertical HD or OD punch. Now you're saving not only time and productivity, but also space in your work environment. And as a standalone unit, it can couple with any other punch system or be used by two operators at the same time. That's the Onyx HD7700 and the PAL-M.
