Demonstration Video
Welcome to MyBinding video. This video looks at a couple of additions for the Rhin-O-Tuff Onyx punch systems. The Palm Switch and the Versa Switch, which is a paper stop activation switch. In addition to the foot pedal, the Onyx HD7700 comes with a Palm switch, but no Versa switch. The Onyx HD7000 comes only with the foot pedal. With the Onyx HD7700, the Palm switch fits right here on the top. It's a small hole, and put the screw from the Palm switch right down inside, and screw it all the way down. And it fits right here on the Onyx HD7000. It plugs into the same plug in the back of the machine where the foot pedal would go. This location allows the operator to use the same hand he drops the paper in with to initiate the punch.
The automatic paper stop activation switch, or Versa switch, also fits on the top of the machine. Simply unscrew this knob for the paper stop and replace it with the Versa switch. Screw it all the way down so it's good and tight and you're all set. It too plugs into the back of the machine into the same slot as the foot pedal or the Palm switch. With this switch, the punch is automatic. You drop the paper in, slide it to the left, it initiates the punch on its own.
Rhin-O-Tuff has produced numerous products to make punching and binding simpler and more efficient. And that's the Rhin-O-Tuff Palm switch and Versa switch. For more demos, reviews, and how-tos, check out MyBinding.com.
