Welcome to MyBinding video. Today we look at Tamerica's 213PB, a manual plastic comb three-hole punch binding machine. Plastic comb and three-hole punch binding made simple and quick, let's watch the 213 in action. Side margin control knob acts as a stop to make sure all punches are consistent and fully disengageable die pins assures for no half holes. Margin depth control knob allows for different thickness of margin for different thickness of projects. When all settings are made, let's start with the covers and punching straight through, then punching through the rest of the papers in your project, all in the same margin. When all your punches are made, you're ready to bind. Assemble your project and select your comb. Place your plastic comb over the teeth in the back. Always make sure that the teeth of the comb face up and the project faces down; that way it doesn't come apart during use. The same lever pulls all the way forward to make sure the teeth are grabbed and then back to open the teeth. Next, thread your project over the teeth of the comb, making sure they go through all the way through all the holes and close up the lever. And that's it, you're all done. Another bonus feature of the 213PB is the three-hole punch. Situated in the top just behind the comb opener is a slot. Slide the papers in, pull down the same lever, and you have three-hole punching.
