This is the Creative Station Lite - a 5 inch version of the popular craft making machines by Xyron.
It stores easily with a compacted design, and being a cold laminator, there is no warm up time.
The cartridges are also backwards compatible to it’s older design.
You can easily pull out one cartridge, and swap out a different one for a different use.
On the inside is a small green plastic hook. This allows you to use 3 inch cartridges as well, which will save on waste when used to it’s fullest potential.
With the five inch cartridge, you’ll see the sides slide into these two grooves. And the labels on the cartridge make it easy to know which side is front, and which cartridge is in place.
On the back, before you close the lid, make sure the material comes out past the black rollers. Then bring the lid down, and the rollers will hold the material in place.
If you have the three inch cartridge in, insert your projects in against the right edge guide. Otherwise insert any flat material, no thicker than a coin and rotate the handle to run it through the machine.
Once it clears the blade, push the orange trimmer down to remove the project.
I’ve been using the permanent adhesive cartridge that comes with the machine—with this, you can make any material(yes even things that are not paper) and apply and a nice even layer of sticky adhesive to it. And apply it to virtually anything.
To save on material, you can insert multiple projects at a time.
The machine is easily portable. It’s small, light, and a crafters delight!
The bottom pads also do a great job in keeping it in place.
There are five different variations of cartridges; it takes only one small machine for many different projects.
