How To Make an ID Badge with Lanyard?
This video shows you just how easy it is to assemble a lanyard and ID badge. Believe it or not, there are a number of different ways to put IDs together. First, there's the choice of lanyard, then the choice of just what to attach to it. At MyBinding.com, not only do we offer a host of different lanyards but also a huge selection of badge holders and attachments. Watch the video to get a few ideas, and then peruse our ID supplies section for even more.
Here is the audio transcript for this video:
Welcome to MyBinding How To videos. Today's video is how to make a lanyard. Few people like wearing them but they are ubiquitous. Here are some ideas for you on how to make them. In terms of supply, there are different types. There's breakaway lanyards for security reasons. There are retractable lanyards for access cards or things like that you need to get to in a hurry. And there's your standard regular economical lanyard. The simplest way to go is to buy a self-contained kit. Here's one that has enough for ten badges. This includes the lanyards, the transparent envelope, as well as cards that can be written on or printed on. In our test case here, we're taking one of our stickers, affixing it to the card, and placing it in the pouch, then attaching the lanyard, simple as that. Oftentimes you'll need a more durable and secure badge as well as lanyard. Lamination is your key. There are plenty of products to help you do this. Here we're working with laminating pouches that already have the lanyard hole cut into them. The number of laminators on the market are too many to count. Most will do the job and some are built specifically just for name badges. Badge goes into pouch, pouch goes into the laminator crease end in first, pull it out and let it cool. Simply attach your lanyard to the hole and you're done. So click around or give us a call, we'll help you make a lanyard. For more demos, reviews, and how tos, check out MyBinding.com.
