The clamp must hold the stack firmly without marking delicate material. Operators should still verify the first finished piece against the job specification before processing the remaining quantity. Keep measurement references consistent and remove paper dust that could affect alignment against the side or back guides.

Plan for cutting sticks, blade servicing, approved lubrication, cleaning materials, and any manufacturer-specified wear parts. A worn cutting stick can contribute to incomplete cuts along the bottom sheets, while a dull blade may pull or crush the stack. Cutting sticks can often be rotated to expose an unused surface before replacement.
