Questions & Answers

Thanks a great question. Yes, you can use pouches sealed along the long side fo the pouch. All manufacture's recommend that the sealed edge is the leading edge that goes into the laminator.

Thank you for your question. You are able to laminate sheets back to back but the pages would not be able to be separated without breaking the seal.

There are no safety issues with leaving the machine on for an extended amount of time as all Fusion laminators have the appropriate UL / CE safety certifications. Machines left on will continue to draw current and stay heated, so as a electric conservation action, you may wish to turn off every night.

Yes you can laminate photo paper in this machine but if this is an old keepsake photo that is heat sensitive then we do not recommend it.

The machine will not provide enough consistent heat to laminate a full letter sheet, but will do fine with smaller size items. You can try to use a 5 mil, but will most likely get “bubbles” and may experience some de-lamination.

The symbol measures the speed in pouches per 10 minutes. Since there is a 10 on the machine, this means 10 pouches can go through within 10 minutes. If it had said 15, that would mean 15 pouches can go through within 10 minutes.

For best results when laminating and to avoid curls, remove the laminated sheet as soon as it comes out of the machine and lay it on a flat surface to cool for 30 seconds.

Any piece of chipboard will work or you can fold a piece of standard (20 pound) paper in half and run it through a few times to clean the product. Make sure that there is no gloss to the paper or the machine will not clean.
