You can use 3 mil, 5 mil, 7 mil and 10 mil pouches with the Fusion 5000L 12" Laminator, it has Auto pouch detection that adjusts the laminator to the proper setting for the best results. The Fusion 5000L 12" Laminator has an Anti-Jam feature that signals users about a jam and auto reverse releases the pouch. It has digital on screen direction that guides users through lamination setup for manual selections. The Fusion 5000L also has an Auto shut off after 30 minutes of inactivity. Totally revamped design, this 12” wide throat can handle documents of 12 x 18 inches. It takes just one minute to warm up and can process up to 39 inches in a minute. This document took about 17 seconds. It’s just that simple. The 5000L can handle 3 – 10 mil in pouch thickness and has a great touchpad LCD control system right on the top of the machine. It can do hot and cold lamination and has an auto feature that will automatically select the size pouch you’re using and adjust the temperature. You do not have to use a carrier for this machine. However, using a carrier in pouch laminating machines is a great way to prolong its life. It’s perfect for laminating ID cards, signs, badges, menus, certificates, charts and schedules; preserving anything that you need to preserve. An anti jam feature will let you know by an audible beep that things are jammed. Hit the reverse button, it backs out, remove your document and you start again.
