Welcome to MyBinding video. Let’s have a look at the all new Fusion 3100L, a 12” hot/cold laminator by Swingline GBC. A complete overhaul of the heat seal system, GBC Swingline has put together a great looking stylish well working laminator. The 3100L has a 12” throat opening allowing for large full size document. It does not require to use a carrier for this system, however using a carrier protects and prolongs the life of any laminator. The Fusion 3100L warms up in just 1 minute and that is fast and processing time is equally as impressive, up to 31” in a minute. It can handle pouch sizes of 3, 5 and 7mil and has both hot and cold laminating settings. This is great for photos and other heat sensitive documents. The finger touch control panel on the top is nice and very responsive. The 3100L is great for home, small and midsize offices. Think about name badges, ID cards, photos, as well as preserving old memories or your child’s artwork. The flexibility, size and speed are all there, which makes a great laminator. Should you have a jam, there is an anti-jam beep that goes off until you press the reverse button and remove your document. There it is, that’s the Swingline GBC Fusion 3100L laminator. To fix this issue, make sure the machine is turned off and then unplug the machine. Wait 5 seconds and then plug it back in and issue should resolve.

The machine will accept a carrier. We wouldn't recommend using the machine for a different purpose other than lamination. If you can provide us more details on what you are trying to do with your laminator, we can assist you with if you need a carrier or not.

When it says laminates up to 7 mil, this means the entire pouch (both sides) are equal to 7 mil and then of course whatever you laminate that goes inside the pouch.
