Welcome to MyBinding video. This is the all new Swingline GBC Fusion 1100L, a 9” personal laminator. Built for the home and small office and totally revamping an old system, this is a great little laminator. It has a 9” throat opening, so it can handle all size documents 9” and smaller. It warms up in just 4 minutes and can handle up to 13” in a minute, so the actual time for this flyer was just under a minute. It’s a very quiet machine and very easy to operate. Just one toggle switch between 3 and 5 mil, that’s the thickness this laminator can handle. It’s perfect for documents, letters, keepsakes, name badges, ID cards, photos, anything that you need to preserve. The application for both business and home seem to be endless. If it’s worth keeping, it’s worth laminating. Though jams are infrequent on this machine, it does happen in pouch laminating. There’s a release button on the 1100L. Simply push it and remove your document. Start again. That’s it. That’s the Fusion 1100L by Swingline GBC. For more demos, reviews and how-to’s, check out MyBinding.com.

Questions & Answers
This product heats up to a maximum of 104 degrees Fahrenheit

Unplug the machine from the wall and wait an hour, then try restarting. The issue could be caused by glue from the laminating paper and suggested feeding a cleaning card through the roller.
Answered by MyBinding.com
The pouch will seal the entire document. If trimming excess material, we’d recommend leaving a slight edge around the document, but it is not necessary as the paper is fully adhered to the pouch.
Answered by MyBinding.com
We recommend using 3 or 5 mil covers.
Answered by MyBinding.com
That is the laminator speed in pouches per 10 minutes. For this model, this means it can do 10 pouches per 10 minutes. if the number says 15, it would mean it could do 15 pouches per 10 minutes.

Hello Dayzee, great question! The mil thickness is the common measure of pouch thickness. You can think of it as thin to thick or flexible to rigid. 3mil is the standard thickness and most likely the lamination you've seen in the past. For frequently handled materials or materials that you’re preserving as a keepsake, I’d recommend a thicker pouch. There is some level of personal preference when selecting thickness. Let me know what materials you think you might like to laminate and I can help you decide what’s best for you.
