Questions & Answers

You can take 2-4 sheets of regular paper, fold in half to make it a little thicker and run it through the machine a few times. This should clean the rollers. As far as frequency goes, it really depends on how often you use the machine. If the machine is used quite often, I would recommend to clean once a month or so.

Yes - you can use any 3 or 5 mil laminating pouch or sheet with the Fusion 3000L laminating machine.

If the 4" that are laminated at the top are flat and have no creases or wrinkles in them, it's generally safe to put the pouch back through. However, if you do not have a perfectly flat document, there is a risk of jamming the laminator, so we would not recommend sending it through again.

We never recommend using left over pieces of a pouch, as you risk damaging the laminator and rollers. If you are using a thin media, such as copy paper, and you need more rigidity, I would recommend using 10mil pouches. Alternatively, if you are using a thicker card stock media, you can use a 3 mil pouch.

Yes, any pouches will work on our laminators, although performance has been optimized for the Swingline GBC pouches.

1. You can send a cleaning card through the machine to help clean the rollers. Try this 2-3 times and try laminating again to see if it fixes the issue.

The machine does not come with a carrier because it was designed to not use one.
