Our innovative easy switch control element ensures simple and intuitive operation. The quiet, powerful ¾ horsepower single-phase motor provides a shred capacity of up to 21 sheets in the strip-cut version and up to 14 sheets in the cross-cut. The strip cut version and the level three cross-cut version are suitable for the destruction of CDs and DVDs. Our precision cutting shafts are constructed entirely of high-grade hardened steel and are backed by a lifetime warranty. Safety features include an electronically controlled transparent safety shield in the feed opening. It is part of the SPS safety package which sets the standard when it comes to operational safety. With a 26-gallon shred volume, the pull out back frame allows for neat and easy shred emptying. The 2503 also comes with an environment friendly energy saving mode. Strengths:

A Safety Protection System makes this shredder both safe and convenient to use. A photo cell sensor controls the automatic start and stop functions. When the device senses paper in the machine, the blades begin shredding instantly. A single, multifunction switch operates three status modes, including stand-by, stop, and reverse. The stop function activates when the shred bag is full, the cabinet door is open, or if there is a paper jam. In the case of a paper jam, the automatic reverse spits paper back out to the user, helping to unclog the blades. Finally, an energy saving mode is triggered after one hour of inactivity in an effort to conserve energy.
