Master 5340B Heavy-Duty 3-Hole Punch by Martin Yale

This is the Master 5340B Heavy Duty 3 Hole Punch!

First off, the product description claims it can punch up to 32 sheets, well it is actually closer to 20—32 won’t even fit into the machine.

This punch has 13/32” holes, which you can see are noticeably larger than the standard hole punch size.

Use the arrow here measure your edge guide for the correct sized paper; up to 15 inches.

There are also measurements for the punch heads, this way you can properly align them when replacing or adding punch heads.

To change them, first unscrew the back screw. You’ll probably find that you have to open the catch tray to further unscrew the nut on the bottom. This will release the screw and the backstop.

Now pop off this little metal ring from the end. And I will say this probably won’t be easy—with this hole punch this entire process can get annoying and take a decent amount of time.

But now wiggle out the lever rod from the punch heads. Since I only unscrewed the end one that is the only one I will be freeing up for this demonstration. It comes right off now.

To put it back on, or a new one on, hook it into the front end of the punch, then proceed to wiggle the rod back in. But you will have to push the top down so it lines up with the crevasse in the rod.

Then screw everything back on, and pop the little metal ring back in place—and you’re done.
