Great question! This guillotine paper cutter can cut up to 10 sheets of 20# bond paper. As for chipboard, it would depend on the thickness (pt). Keep in mind that when using blades to cut thicker substrates, that it dulls down the blade a lot sooner than if you are cutting only bond paper.
