Formax presents the On-Site FD 8652CC Auto-Oiler Shredder. The Formax FD 8652CC is an office-sized shredder with industrial strength for years of reliable on-site data destruction at the source. As with all Formax on-site shredders, the FD 8652CC is built with commercial-grade features to outlast the competition, including an all-metal cabinet, industrial-strength chain-driven steel gears, specially heat-treated steel cutting blades for strength and increased throughput, heavy-duty casters for mobility within the office, and a large AC geared motor for added torque and dependability.
To complement the industrial features, the FD 8652CC offers office-friendly operation and design. The internal EvenFlow automatic oiler optimizes shredding performance with periodic oiling of the cutting blades. A user-friendly LED control panel features a load indicator to monitor shredding capacity along with automatic and manual feed modes, and a 53-gallon lifetime guaranteed high-density plastic waste bin to reduce the frequency of emptying.
With its 16-inch-wide feed opening, the FD 8652CC can shred up to 32 sheets at once at a speed of up to 33 ft per minute. Shredded pieces are 5/32 of an inch by 1 9/32 of an inch. Additional features include auto-reverse to prevent overloading the shredder when too many sheets are fed and ECO mode, which saves energy by automatically switching to standby after 5 minutes of inactivity. These features combine to make the FD 8652CC an ideal solution for centralized office shredding.
